Parkeon, a global leader in urban mobility solutions for the parking and transit industries, held its annual US distributor conference February 9th and 10th in Savannah, GA.  At this meeting, the company recognized three of its distribution partners for outstanding achievements in 2014.

DEVO & Associates, based out of Voorhees, NJ, was presented the award for Top Sales Performance for the third consecutive year.  Their team sold close to $1 million in multi-space parking meter revenue in 2014.  DEVO was awarded key projects in Lawrence (NY), Roosevelt Island (NY), and Radnor (PA) and completed a large scale on-street Pay by Space parking implementation in Huntington (NY).  DEVO is Parkeon’s distribution partner for New Jersey and Long Island, and also has key accounts in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Parkeon presented its New England distribution partner, Wescor Parking Controls, with the award for Most Innovative Parking Project.  In 2014, Wescor was awarded a contract by Republic Parking for 85 Pay by Plate Strada Pay Stations for the City of Medford, MA.  The Medford deployment is the largest on-street Pay by Plate system in New England.  The Parkeon system is integrated with Genetec’s License Plate Recognition system for fast, efficient enforcement.  The system went live at the beginning of 2015 and marked the beginning of paid parking within the City.

A third award was presented to Consolidated Parking Equipment, Parkeon’s distribution partner in South Florida.  This award was presented to recognize Consolidated’s participation in a large scale deployment of a new on-street Pay by Plate system with the Miami Parking Authority consisting of over 400 Strada Pay Stations and back-end system integrated with Genetec’s License Plate Recognition system.

“We congratulate DEVO & Associates, Wescor Parking Controls, and Consolidated Parking Equipment, and we thank all of our distributors for playing a key role in Parkeon’s 2014 success,” says Sean Renn, Marketing Director for Parkeon, Inc.  “The organizations that represent Parkeon are well respected in the communities they serve and we are proud to have them as part of our team.”

Parkeon’s US distribution network grew to include 17 companies in 2014, allowing Parkeon to provide more localized sales and service of its market leading parking systems.
